Version 12.0 has just released today. The biggest changes this time around are in the code, but there are some feature changes too. To go along with the code refactoring I made some visual changes to the app to keep it fresh. More color has been added, such as to the page icons, and the controls now have rounded corners. Windows will now by default appear as popups within the main app window which prevents blocking dialogs from making you not able to interact with the main window (such as when downloading files).

In terms of features I changed the resolution options in the game configurations to a drop-down where the supported resolutions on your computer will be available. You can of course still manually specify a resolution as well! The Rayman Raving Rabbids configuration also has a resolution drop-down now, as well as its sequel.

After this update I'll probably be taking a bit of a break from the program again. I feel the repository on GitHub is in a better place now with the new code refactoring and updated readme, and the most important features I want to have are now in the app.

It's been a while now, but 11.0.0 has finally been released! I started this update last summer, but took a break to focus on Ray1Map. The past few weeks I got back to working on this and finished it up so it could now be released.

The biggest update here is the new reworked Archive Explorer™ tool. Previously you could only modify an archive by replacing files, and for each replaced file the archive would repack. Now with the new version you can add/remove files/directories and it won't repack until you decide to save your edits.

New quality of life additions have also been made to the tool, such as an address bar, a search bar, sorting options, better performance and more! Rayman 1 PC spin-off archives are now also supported, as well as some new file formats.

Other changes in the update include a utility for generating Rayman 1 PS1 save passwords, progression info for Rayman Designer and its spin-offs, support for Rayman ReDesigner and more!

After taking a break from working on the program for a while I am now back with version 10.0!

With the update to MahApps.Metro 2.0 several control styles have changes in the app. I also went ahead and changed a few ones manually to make them more up to date with current standards. If you're on Windows 10 you can also sync the app theme with the system theme, allowing you to customize the accent color.

New here is also support for two new games, Rayman Premiers Clics and the Rayman 1 Minigames. The latter can be downloaded directly through the program as it was never available as a standalone release and is rather hard finding nowadays.

Other major new features include progression support for Rayman 1 & 2. This allows you to view your game progress as well as edit it. For Rayman 2 you can also see your record times for the two bonus levels!

After several major updates I'm going to be focusing on some smaller updates moving forward, starting with 9.1.0 which introduces support for Rayman demos! This included demos for Rayman 1, Gold, 2, M and 3. These can all be downloaded directly from the program or located if you have a copy already installed.
Like the full retail versions you have configuration options for the majority of them as well as the Archive Explorer utility.
Demos for newer games, such as Origins and Legends, are not included as they can easily be downloaded from Steam (unlike the older ones which are hard to find these days).

Here we are again with yet another major RCP update! I skipped an announcement for version 8.0.0 as I was still trying to work out how to deal with modding utilities in the program, and after some back and forth I've decided to make a new "Utilities" tab for those features. There you'll find tools such as being able to view and modify .cnt and .ipk archives and converting game files such as the UbiArt localization files. With these tools branching out beyond the supported Rayman games, including games such as Tonic Trouble, Child of Light and Just Dance, they can now be used without the game itself installed or added to RCP.


Version 9.0.0

• Added a utility for viewing/editing the .ipk files in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, allowing importing/exporting of textures and game files for UbiArt games
• Added the utilities page for general utilities, such as viewing .cnt/.ipk archives and converting certain game files

• Fixed a bug where browsing for a DOSBox config path would not allow files of the correct extension
