Thanks so much for your questions!
We would absolutely love to branch out to other utilities and we've taken a look at a few for future projects. We've got more we want to do that we haven't done yet, and we may continue using what we currently do even if we do branch out, since so many people enjoy this format. But to answer your question directly yes, growing and evolving is something we continue to do and we're not opposed to adding in new utilities in the future! Super excited about it, actually.
To answer your next question, we're unfortunately not receptive to story ideas for several personal reasons.
1. Being that we really enjoy the story building aspect of game development more than any other part, so we try to take full advantage of that portion to get through the other parts that are less enjoyable for us.
2. We have this internal thing where if we hear someone else's story idea and it turns out to be really good, we feel bummed because we didn't think of it ourselves and we don't want to use someone else's idea because it won't ever feel like "ours" or something "we" did, and we can't take pride in that as much. We're totally into being innovative and transformative, as all artists, in all forms are. We've started looking at fairy tales and trying to put our own darker spin on some of them, including some from Brothers Grim. But there's a bit of a difference between retelling a timeless classic in a different way, versus using someone's idea that they haven't done prior themselves. Maybe there's no real difference at all and it's just in our heads, but we try to just stick to our own creations or something familiar, but done in our own style with our own tone and spin on it.
Thank you so much for inquiring and thank you for supporting us, it means a lot! ♥
If you'd like, you can send me a message with a couple of notes or traits about the character you picked a name for, along with the name you chose, and I'll add them into our database and see if we can't bring something to life for you in a way that won't drastically alter the game itself. I'm sure I can figure something out. Maybe some quick details about a basic appearance or items, and 1 personality trait / tone we can try to match. ♥
And once I get some free time ill shoot you a message about that character.
