Space Channel 5: Part Two
First of all, I felt myself very happy when I won Space Channel 5: Part Two giveaway. I never played this series before, but I used to play a lot of dancing games on PSOne, like PaRappa the Rapper and Bust a Groove, and I'm a huge Dreamcast fan.

This is a dancing game, like the mentioned above and many others. However, it is far more difficult than these. The reason is simple: you do not have signs or symbols in the screen showing which button you should press. The enemy do the sequence, and you have to repeat it in the same rhythm by using the movements UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, CHU (S key) and HEY (D key). Missed a key, you'll lose a heart. Pressed the wrong key, you'll lose a heart. Pressed the right keys at the wrong rhythm, you'll lose a heart. This heart is not exactly your life bar, but more hearts and View Rating (both depending of sucessful moves) you'll have more Stars in the boss fight, which the stars are actually your life bar. If you lose all stars, game over.

As almost any game of this genre, the story is silly and could be non-existant. But the music and beat are quite good, and it is hard to familiarize your ear and repeat the movements, but is a lot of fun nonetheless.

It is a good game if you have little time to spend and want to exercise your reflexes a little. If you liked the old dancing games, you'll probably have a good time like I had.

7.5/10
