Aye - In RTW the spartan units were a bit op if used properly :) But seeing as they are their own faction this time around I would imagine itll be a bit more interesting ^-^

I wanna try athens or sparta first. I remember in rome 1 having epic holds with spear units and I wanna relive it lol.

What factions is everyone planning on trying first? I think i'll be going with Macedonia or Athens.

Hehe indeed. :) It will be fun for sure - hopefully they kept some of the clan mechanics they had in Shogun2 I enjoyed them.

I am so excited to have walls and doors be a useful element once again. Don't get me wrong shogun is great, but nowhere near as great as medieval 2 or Rome 1. Gunless tactics has come back to the total war franchise.
