The community is far for being dead, it is just that most the top players are playing the game on a mod : http://www.dawnofwar.info/ you can get it there and find people to play with.

Question:
So far, I've built my Devastor squad as only ranged support, but then I saw that you can make them terminators, so my question is: Do I need to start focusing on melee damage now, or can I leave them as ranged focused?

Hey, if anyone needs help with mastering / countering Eldar feel free to ask me, always eager to share my knowledge about Eldar! I have "fairly" high understanding of Chaos and IG if youre interested, but mainly my best understanding goes with Eldar ... now im off to Annihilate some Mon-Keigh!!!!

For all those bored or simply wanting a new experience to DOW, I introduce to you guys: Codex Edition (link:http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?239552-Dawn-of-War-2-Codex-Edition) . Its a Dow 2 ret mod that makes the game alot more fluffy and enoyable, a side note though, it is still in beta and not everything is done. Hopefully i'll you you all on the battlefield!

*to admins not sure if this is against rules, I saw nothing of promoting a community mod, if it is distruptive, I apologize and will refrain from doing it in the future,
