[SOLVED] Why Vyse Masks are not appearing and how to get them

Hi all,

The reason Vyse Masks are not appearing in the game is because Steam recently added pagination to the group member listing (I dont want to get technical) and the game does not expect it. For this reason only first page (approximately 1000 out of 21 000+ members) will have the masks.

If you want to enjoy them in game, only way how to currently activate them is to use LUA hook.

You can use one I "made" and which will activate only Vyse Masks, download below:

How to install

1. Download LUA as a zip by using url https://github.com/hrax/pdth-vyse-masks/archive/master.zip
   
2. Unzip it anywhere as a folder
   
3. Go into the folder, it should contain 4 files: README.md, IPHLPAPI.dll, vyse.lua, PD2Hook.yml
   
4. Move those 4 files into the Steam Payday: The Heist directory, should be at: %STEAM%/SteamApps/common/PAYDAY The Heist where '%STEAM%' is your steam installation directory
   
5. Start the game and you should be able to select the masks

This will replace any lua hook mods you have. Read readme to know whick hook to add.

Masks still don't work

If masks by some reason don't appear, try validating your game files. In case, you are not sure, if you moved the files properly verify with this image (4 files are highlighted) - http://imgur.com/lje4MEn

FYI: My mod, DorHUD/DAHM/whatever you call it, fixes all mask related problems as well by simply using the groups from your Steam client. Moreover, it has done this since its release. And unlike this mod, you actually have to be in this group for the masks to appear.

It was my way of giving back on crime fest due to me not being able to stream till i either get a new rig or get mine back.

guys i totally feel like shit now, these masks were only 4 people who donated the cause, and now you guys are releasing them 4 free to everyone... making people jus joining the group for mere interest (like me) but.... the only thing that i can do now is thank you so much for this wonderful gift.
