Route idea

I made a nice route for a roadtrip.

Here is the map for the first part:

We could start at (26080;7350), just make sure you have a offroad capable vehicle. Something like the MV V880 or the chepavet PVD will work.
I made two video's of me driving from there to the ice lake, what our next location will be.

It's not very hard. We could have some party at the icelake...

Next, we will drive to Kampung Redup (19250;8400), it's very easy compared to the beginning. From then we will only drive on roads, to Bandar Kayu Manis (22590;13650), better know as the top of the ski slopes.
After making some fun at the ski resort, we can drive directly to the destruction derby for our next stop.

Then we could:
A: drive all the way down to Kem General Vikneshwaran (17720;16830).
B: or we can jump of the mountains.

After that we go to Kuala Gandin (21640;17767) for some new equipment (if there is any) and then straight to Panau Falls Casino (18270;17770) to jump of the waterfall.
(offcourse we can also skip this part if we choose to drive over the roads)

At that point the roadtrip becomes a boatrip.

We just go to the main river through the desert and then to Kem Udaru Wau (22180;23220).

There we can go for the flying part.

We could go the other way around, so first the boats and then roadpart, to avoid the hard part at the very beginning, but then we have to skip the ski resort.

So what do you guys think of it?

Omg this is going to be a crazy wild trip! I just followed you on your video while I did it in game, and I have to say it's easy to get lost up in the hills above the lake xD I LOVED it though. I love hill climbing and going off road.

Lets just do the ice lake trip first. If we combine off road mountain slop climbing with normal roadtrips it will take very long and might tire some people out. Did you perhaps time the whole thing to give us an idea?

Also your coordinates are off on Kuala Sandin, unless you mean Kuala Gandin which has different coordinates. You are driving me crazy xD

Wow that is a pretty...new idea. I watched the videos and first I was like:"wtf? is that guy insane?" but I realized that it might not be such a bad idea. I'd cut the extreme hill climbing tho. We can't get up there with 30+ people. We could grab some cars at icelake and do a "classic" roadtrip down south. I prefer driving on the streets, otherwise theres too much chaos

sorry, you are right. I meant Gandin, it's fixed now.

You're both right about the hillclimbing, it will be a mess.
So the start will be ice lake. Going from icelake to the road is very easy.

I would still like to try out some other hill climbs that I have been scouting (including yours) We can reduce it to 3-5 people or so. Once we slowly introduce more and more people and they get better at climbing we can probably push it to 10. I think it's possible because every few minutes there is a large enough resting spot for it. I also want to do some race car cliff climbing!

I just drove the trip in SP, it took me exactly an hour to get to the airfield.
So i think it will take abourt 3-4 hours in MP :p

Or did you mean to hold the roadtrip especialy for the few who want to hillclimb?
It's a good idea anyway, but how do you want to climb a hill with sportcars? Or do you wat to go downwards?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the only airfield stop I see on your map is at the second to last spot on the last picture basically being at the end of the trip. Or were you stopping at the civilian airport instead of the big red boat location? xD

We shouldn't really need a new faction, just a few people from our faction who have already climbed hills or mountains and like exploring. I was thinking we can do it inbetween large roadtrips. If we get enough people interested, then we can make a faction :) I would be much more inclined to make one at that time.

How do I want to climb hills with a sportscar? Very very fast and in the desert! There is a small town city right next to the North Desert Airport on a cliff. We used this cliff to jump cars off of last test. If you have a sportscar, you can actually climb up it, not directly, but from the side! Utilizing a car like this really pushes the limits to what types of hills you can climb ;)

The hill that I want to drive down next test is a mountain ridge that heads NE away from the South Airport in the desert. It is very easy to spot on the map. The south side of the ridge is darkened. This should be a good activity to teach people how to control their momentum going downhill, breaking and redirecting their vehicle.

I can't wait to find a climbing/declining route that is big enough to have a race on it! That would be AWESOME!

sorry for my late reply, but anyway:

i stopped at the airport (the red wannabe plane), so i did both the road and boat parts.

I'm currently having troubles with my pc, so i can't test it. But it sounds good!
I see the cliff NE from the south airport. From the top it looks uhm.., interesting. I've never driving on it though (shame on me!).

Maybe you can make a video to show the location?

By the way, it is possible, it's just that with the time I had I couldn't record a successful decline. It's freaking hard. Once over the first decline it gets easier though.
