I too noticed that there is a lot of represenations in the game regarding the number 3. Example - When playing Offline, you'll only have two AI with you, ending up with three total. Also, 3 days consistantly, etc. I've been doing some digging in terms of this function, but I can't find much ingame...

There are actually 3. 3 seems to be an important number in unlocking this secret. In order here are The Wheel, Death, and The Magician. They are all Major Arcana in the Tarot. Their numbers are 10, 1, and 13 in that order. Hope this helps.
