Problem with p2map_publish.exe
I'm trying to publish my map for this months competition. But when I execute p2map_publish.exe I always get this error message: "Steam must be running for this application to function."
I've tried it with and without friends network. I've tried validating cache. Nothing works.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Now I'm trying to publish the map with the PeTI editor by replacing the image and .bsp file before uploading. But then the image won't be displayed in the game and I get weird graphical bugs like this[i.imgur.com]. I'm not an expert. What am I looking at here?

Did you rename the map? If you rename a bsp file the cubemaps will become invalid, creating that on any reflective surfaces. You should have run 'build_cubemaps' (with the map saved in portal2_dlc2/maps to avoid a bug) to generate them correctly.

You should have at about one in every room or locations with lots of contrast (an all-white room next to an all-black room). You might want to place one next to each reflective surface in your map (glass, certain metal models like funnel emitters).
