Broken (separate) audio file. (.WAV)
I am trying to make a 5 minute SFM video, I use an image sequence instead of using straight up MP4 file from SFM, so I use Vdub and combine everything, both the images and audio using the program VirtualDub (no problem with that). But here's the problem: my separate audio file (.WAV) is messed up. Messed up in a sense that even if everything sounds smooth, clear, understandable, its just that it skips small (but noticeable) parts of the file, let's say if I were to play a song, it would skip small chunks of lyrics.

For me, this obviously has nothing to do with VirtualDub but has something to do with SFM's rendering/exporting process in terms of audio files.

My audio file is a song (so pretty much it covers up the whole video) with at least one tf2 sound effect. If I were use the default mp3 song file, there wouldn't be any tf2 sound effects.

I put it on sequence whenever I try to export it.

You can try render the audio file only. SFM is horrible with MP3s. Convert the MP3s in the project to WAVs with Audacity or some other audio editing program.

Alternatively, you can use a video editing software and add the audio manually through there. That's usually what I do.

Actually that's what I did, render audio file only, yet the WAV. file is messed up, I honestly don't understand what you mean by "convert the MP3s in the project to WAVs", I mean, isnt .WAV the file SFM creates and not MP3, well .WAV the only file I have under "Format" in my Export window. The MP3 I am talking about is the song itself (so there are no .tf sound files in it), its the one under Sound>Music> in the Clip Editor. But anyway, thanks for the reply. It still helps in the discussion. I put my sound effects (ex:gunshots) under Sound>Effect.
