File upload failed: error 29

I assumed I had the problem because the site lost my favorites,subscriptions to mods and my workshop files. They appeared half hour later so I went to bed. Well it is still not working.
I published my mod and upgraded its page to reflect the changes. I tried to upload a .jpg
file and got this message: File upload failed: error 29.
I previously uploaded around 19 pictures.
I deleted one of them because it reflected wrong information ( was for previous version)
I edited that very same file with text to reflect the updates.
It failed.

I have re started steam. I have shut down the computer entirely (cold boot).
All other problems were resolved...so what gives?



<UPDATE> Sigh....the picture wasn't there, I swear! but it is NOW...so issue resolved.

The problem is alive and well in 2020 still...
I have a workshop item for which I've been battling for more than a month now to upload some extra photos…
Refreshing the page has no effect

I have this problem too!
On my mod page 3 pictures are disappeared.
If I try to upload thema again I get File upload failed: error 29.
Because they are still in Workshop but not visible anymore? oO

Nice I have the same problem. What game? I messaged Steam Support but they just dismissed me.

I have wrote steam support again, hope it helps.

On one of my works, part of the screenshots disappeared and I can’t download new ones. Most likely they have some kind of problems with the server.

What games are you guys modding? Support tells me I should contact Paradox b/c it's an EU4 mod.

Solved this by changing the file from PNG to JPG.
Also in case it is a Guide or similar, add it to your "Guides Content", then go from there.

I am making a guide for CT, I uploaded previously a lot a tiny images (10x10 / 20x30) in any character slot. Also, if I tried to reupload that content, the error 29 appears, changing to png to jpg is not working. And i need to uses transparent images in order to make the guide more attractive. Ideas?
