[Suggestion] Add a "Reply" Button for Comments on Guides

There needs to be a way to answer questions or provide feedback to commentors that also notifies each party when a reply has been made so there can be a conversation. The only option currently is to add @(name here) in a comment and hope that the person you are talking to see's it. Guides are meant to help others, and adding the ability to directly reply to comments can facilitate a lot of direct assistance to those that need questions answered or have problems that need solving.

Did you have issue with that? I allways get a notification if someone reply. When you post a comment in a guide is like you subscribe that guide comment section. BTW there is a sub forum for the "Steam Guides".

What I'm saying is there needs to be a button so you can have a conversation on the guide itself. I know the notifications are there... But it's such an inelegant solution to not to be able to reply to people directly.

Someone just sent me a comment on my profile, which in itself doesn't make sense since I can't comment on anyone else's profile, but I would like to know how to reply to it so that person gets a notification about it (his profile is private and he is not my friend on steam)

I see where your coming from OP and I agree.
I've had several occasions when I would have liked to " talk " with a creator and/or offer information I've found they might use to " expand " the content of their guide. I never have from lack of a simpler direct way to do so.

It's 2025 and this thread is top of the search results, but Valve still haven't added a reply feature to Steam.
