Lying in an appeal will be an auto-deny.

Let's define lying:

• Factual lying.

This is often misunderstood. When we ask questions, we usually know the answers already. When answers mismatch with what we know, we investigate further and establish that you were either lying or telling the truth.
Don't dig yourself a hole you can't come out of. Just tell the truth, it's easier for both you and us.

Be straightforward.

If the staff think you are hiding something, that will have a negative impact on your appeal. When questions are asked, answer them to the fullest extent of your knowledge. Even if you think it's not relevant. Admins do NOT have the time to try to dig out every snippet of some information they want. Explain it to the closest detail you know.

Account Ownership

Buying/selling/trading/lending or any transfer of steam account ownership does not negate a ban/mute/gag, nor are you able to appeal for the account. Your account is your responsibility, that's Valve's stance and that is our stance.

To be extremely explicit: using "someone else in my household was on my pc at the time of the ban" will not be an acceptable reason to appeal.

What are Alts?

On some appeals, you will be asked to provide alternate account information:

• Any account that you own or have owned in the past.
  
• Any accounts that you have access to.
  
• Any accounts that can be linked to you even if not yours, such as your sister/friend/mom/dog's account.

You will also have to to explain your relationship/association to those accounts in detail. If you omit information here, while we see otherwise (see point 1 about lying) the ONLY explanation to us is that those are alts, and that you are trying to hide them from us.

Threats, abusive conversations, ect., harm your appeal!

Admins can terminate any communication due to threats or harassment, and then determine the appeal outcome in private.
We do so many appeals, and this community can be somewhat sarcastic and rude, that we don't need more negative stuff added to the discussions in our appeals. We try and be respectful, but we're still human. Treat us with respect, and a lot more is possible. All admins have the instruction that if they're harassed, they're to reject the appeal straight away. Most of us have a thick skin, so a bit of bad language is often not a problem, but still, don't do it.

I personally wont unban for you knew that it would have crashed the server as i had warned you before, and everytime you had done it people had told what it does to the server, however you kept on doing it. I was called by many people to join the server multiple times due to you doing the taunt in the water.

I was only told once that it would crash the server and it happened 1 minute before I got banned. Also it is not on the NeonHeight's Rule that I can not do meet the medic in the water.

Getting told it crashes the server should have been the end of it, but apparently it wasn't. If staff ask you to stop doing something, stop. If you disagree with a member of staff, you can take it up with him in private.

Staff can ask you to stop doing things even if they're not explicitly written down. Unwritten rules are enforced at our own discretion.

Appeal has been rejected by 3 members of staff, and shall remain in effect.

So my Steam name is Jockstat128 and about a year ago I was perma banned from Neon Heights which was my favorite server. I was banned because I was mouthing off to a donator who was running around with OP weapons and alts healing him and he was killing everyone and not dying. So, I got really mad and after about an hour of arguing with him, he was saying that he was going to Ddos me so I started saying that I was going to IP trace him and do it to him first, but I really don't know how to. And he went and got an Admin to ban me. Okay, now I'm going to start off and personally deny this. Whether or not it is by the higher up's, that's on them. I was the one that sent down this ban because you were getting pissy over the fact our donator, who's name will NOT be revealed, was using resized hands and had a medic with him. Where NOWHERE in our rules states you are not allowed to use. Not only after multiple statements saying that there weren't rules about this action, you still continued to piss and moan about how the rules weren't unfair, etc etc. Finally, after being told that you were going to get muted the next time you tried to start shit with the donator because you were once more killed by resized hands you began to claim IP tracing and DDOS'ing, where I immediatly banned you because at NeonHeights we have a a ZERO toleration policy when it comes to that shit.

I'm somewhat sure I grabbed screen shots of you stating this [because honestly I'm sure I screen cap most stuff like this, I take this shit just as serious as anyone when it comes to personal IP attacks or anything of the sort on our players in our servers] and I will be sure to follow up with the pics further proving this.

I'm going to state this as a denied appeal.

If this truly is abuse, then i can assure you it wont happen again.

Edit: I would like to have donor still, but if the punishment requires the removing of me being donor, thats fine.

"I want to play with my friends" is not really a reason for this ban to be considered. The closest we have is "change of heart" but I do not believe you in fact do have a change in heart for the behavior exhibited.

You are required to read and understand the rules of donorship before you are allowed to donate. I will quote the rule that most applies to your case::

1. Do not kill, damage or harm other players when using commands that give an unfair advantage

It should seem you used the skybox command to create an unfair advantage, which, as you guessed, is truly abuse. I do not however believe you understood this and I think you would not have made this mistake had you known, so I'll extend to you a one time courtesy and unabn you.

I should ask that you CAREFULLY read the donator rules once again (or more, if you need to) so that you fully understand them this time.
