Abbreviations / Lingo in chat

Here are the most common abb / phrases in chat and what they mean:

"+" - I Agree", or simply "Yes"

"-" - Do not agree", or simply "No"

"=" - Abstain, Indiffrent, Dont care

"hj" - Hot Join (on reload the game usually freezes, 1 player leave and come back into game fixes it aka "hot join"

"ag" - Any game(s)?

"eu" - European based players

"na" - North American based players

"ffa" - Free for all (settings and rules can be voted on)

"rnd" - Random civ pick

"fruity" - Fruity draft

"bnw" - Brave New World dlc

"mod" - Game with played with mods

"2/6" - Lobby is up and filled with 2 players, 6 player game

"dc" - disconnected

"CC" - Concede (you submit to a player for early win) (all players must CC to same person for game to end)

"Cs" - City Sate

"gl" - Good Luck

"hf" Have Fun

"gg" - Good Game (when game is over pls be polite and state gg, if you get voted "irre" or lost your Cap pls state "gg" before leaving so remaining players know you left on purpose

"cap" - Capital city

"irre" - Irrelevant for the progress of the game (all players must vote +)

People who say MM typicaly have two mods installed. The map one, and the one that balances everything else.

Either that or they are also looking for a game.
Typicaly when people ask for a game people they would call out how many are in their game, and what the max. player limit is, etc. ( 3/6 mm NA) for an example.
