Recovery Code Not Working.

I wrote down my recovery code on a note book just in case. Today my phone died but I got it to work, I cant be asked to explain how but it said to put down the recovery code if I dont want mobile authenticator and it didn't work so I was really annoyed at myself for not writing the recovery code down properly then when I get my phone to work I check the recovery code and I put it down correctly? Help

You can't use your recovery code in your normal login, you must go to www.steampowered.com and in the recovery section thingy where you can enter your recovery code, if that doesn't work you must contact steam support :/
