Misty Lear is an Inventor from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. A beautiful but mysterious woman, she spends all her time in the Mountains of Barr finding ways to save her daughter's soul.

Fayt finds Misty Lear at an abandoned workshop in the Barr Mountans. She is lamenting the loss of her daughter, and how she can't save her soul. When Fayt shows her the Spirit Stone he found in the Ruins of Barr, she is glad she finally has something to save her soul with and joins Fayt's crew of inventors.
