hey guys ive been lookin for this game for years. I've downloaded 2metragluposti version but i dont know how to instal Metal Fatigue I have nGlide installed from there im lost someone please help

Hey, had the same problem you did until I remembered that you need a special program to mount the MFatigue image files with, I recommend using Daemon Tools, basically it creates a virtual disk drive for the files that came along with the file you downloaded, heres the link: https://www.daemon-tools.cc/products/dtLite . You can download and install the free license for the program and when you do so, you open Daemon Tools, click on Quick Mount and choose Metal Fatigue cd 1 and it should begin installing. When it askes for cd 2, just dismount cd 1 and set cd 2 into the Quick Mount and continue. I have already installed the game this way on Windows 7 and it is playable for me, but it decides to crash whenever it wants to, I have tried everything I possibly could compatibility wise and still no permanent fix. Hope this works better for you.

2metragluposti, I visited your mediafire link and I can't run the batch file to install the game. It opens a cmd prompt window for about 1/10 of a second explaining that Gfxsetup is not recognized as an internal or external command. Any advice?

I've managed to install the game and the glide wrapper. I think that the patch is installed too. The game runs and doesn't seem to be crashing, but the sound doesn't work. It seems like each sound file will play once and then quickly turn its own volume down until it becomes silent. Does anybody know how I might fix this?

Ive manage to install the game and the glide wrapper (also mounted the game for installation) and I can run the game (includes cutscenes) through the windiws XP (SP2) but
a) The Patch Installer did not work for me and
b) Whenever I try to play a Skirmish or the Campaign It asks for a disc to be inserted despite the same disc still being mounted from installation. Any Ideas?

I still have the cds but if i run it theres nothing happening i cant even start it. i also installed nglide and patched already but if i click on disk drive an clik open nothing happens

I have the original CDs, but it wont work in none SO from XP to 10. What have I do for have this great game available again? Sigh!

Make sure to have nGlide software installed BEFORE you install Metal Fatigue. nGlide acts like the driver files for a 3dfx video card "Voodoo2" and translates the games glide graphics commands into OpenGL commands that work on newer systems. The MF installer lets you pick the video card device at the end and it needs to be set to Glide in order to play on Windows XP - 10. If you don't install nGlide first the game will be set to DirectX 7 mode and just crashes. So reinstall MF if you installed nGlide after MF. I got Metal Fatigue to install and play just fine on my Windows 10 (64bit) laptop. Windows Compatibility Settings are XP SP2, 16bit color, and Run As Administrator. It runs fine on both my Intel HD or Nvidia GTX 860M GPU. It still crashes a little over an hour of playing but I believe that is due to a memory leak caused by something in Windows NT based OSs (2000 and newer.) as the game plays perfectly on ME and 98SE.
