Sadly at the end of April we closed 2 maps Tiamat and The Sunken world.
This had nothing to do with resources low or any hardware issues but due to mod devs. It became apparent since ASA mod devs have become rude and abrupt to players just asking questions on the future of their mods regarding Survival Evolved.
We watched and hoped for best part of two years for a Tiamat update but the mod dev was only interested in popularity and money.
Sadly the TSW devs fell into this bracket with their moderation threatening people with bans for asking about Evolved.
Both mod devs seem to have zero intentions of keeping to their word on continuing updating their mods.
So we took action, with a heavy heart as we dont take this sort of action lightly in Maelstrom but we closed their maps and also removed their mods form out cluster due to their inflated egos.

We will be replacing the two maps with one being launched on Maelstroms 7th Birthday. I hope everyone likes it and then a 2nd map launching a few weeks later.
I hope this interests new and old players at Maelstrom to get in and have a new exploration of new mod maps.
These changes and the two final maps will be the final changes to the ASE cluster going forward so no maps will be closing in the foreseeable future.
