1143 is a mod about Reconquista that focuses in Iberian Peninsula and North Africa, starting in 1143 and concluding in 1492.

- A completely new map with 46 conquerable regions

- Six playable factions:
Catholic factions: Kingdom of Portugal, Kingdom of Castile & Leon, Crown of Aragon, Kingdom of Navarre.
Moorish factions: the Almoravids and the Almohads.

- Two emergent factions: the Marinids and the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada

DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION:

Before installing the mod, make sure you have the Kingdoms expansion installed. The update for Kingdoms expansion can be found here.

1- Download the mod:
- Link 1: http://www.filefront.com/17608293/1143_v1.1.rar
- Link 2 (alternative link): http://www.sendspace.com/file/or32mg

2- Extract the file 1143_v1.1.exe and double click on it.

3- Select your Medieval 2: Total War main directoryC:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Medieval II Total War.

4- Then go install to finish and do not click launch the mod when finished.

note: This mod is mod-foldered, It not change your original file.

How to launch the mod.

1- Make a copy of medieval2(.exe file) then rename it to kingdoms(.exe file) ,it is in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Medieval II Total War

2- In steam libraly ,right click on M2TW > click properties > click set launch option > typing this into the emty line "--features.mod=mods/1143 --io.file_first" > click OK then close properties box.

3- Launch the game by choosing play : Medieval ll Total War. Enjoy!!!

note: When you want to set it to default just delete "--features.mod=mods/1143 --io.file_first".
