BattleAxe (Mod with full campaign and many campaigns of separate region)
BattleAxe, a “true” Total War experience, challenges players to achieve victory over a large selection of campaigns and factions. Diplomacy has been axed, all factions are “at war”. It’s a “mean” Medieval II streamlined for swift gameplay. Merchants, priests, and ships are omitted by default but may be simply added depending on your gameplay preference. Land bridges connect all continents and offer new strategic opportunities and threats so beware. Whether you have a weekend or a week you’ll find a fight in BattleAxe.

12 Campaigns
3 Grand Campaigns (1140, 1240, 1400)
3 Medium sized Campaigns 1250 (British Isles, Baltic, Outremer)
6 Small sized “weekend” Campaigns 1240 (Britannia, Baltic, Balkans, Iberia, Italia, Outremer)

30 Playable Factions
Britannia - England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland
Scandinavia - Norway, Sweden, and Denmark
Iberia - Portugal, Castile, and Aragon
Italia - Milan, Venice, and Sicily
W. Europe - France, HRE, Bohemia, and the Crusading Orders
E. Europe - Poland, Lithuania, Hungary and the Bulgarian Empire
Russia - Novgorod, early Russia, and the Mongols
Anatolia - Byzantium, Georgia, andthe Turks
Africa - The Moors, Egypt, and the Hafsids (Tunisia)

Sounds fun! So much MOD

So I got to step three and ended up with the old "cannot find valid kingdoms.exe" I do not see any field that allows me to enter in the directory or even navigate where I want to install it.

Did you copy the medieval2.exe file and call it kindgdoms.exe in the steam folder?

Ah, okay. I went from top to bottom. I had to make the copy before I could run the installer. Thanks Commodus! It is up and running fine now!
