Third Age Massive Overhaul Submod (MOS) 1.7

To install the Third Age MOS 1.7 submod, before you need to install Third Age.

Follow this guide to install it.

Once you've done this, you will need to download the following links from moddb.

Download the two Full Version parts, patch 01-04.rar and patch 05.rar

We can after this start to install it.

1. If you want to keep a copy of Third Age, just do a regular folder copy.
2. In the folder where you want to install the MOS submod, you will have to extract the files with the following order.
WARNING: The default path in the compressed files is Third_Age_3, if you don't want to override it that can harm your Third_Age_3 install.
2.1. Extract MOS_Full_version_1.70.part1.rar. If your mod folder is Third_Age_MOS, use C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_MOS path.
2.2. Extract MOS_Full_version_1.70.part2.rar
2.3. Extract MOS_1.70_all_inclusive_patch_01-04.rar
2.4. Extract MOS_1.70_Dwarven_Halberds_hotfix_patch_05.rar
3. Create a shortcut or use the Med2ModLauncher to play it.

3.1. The shortcut should point to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Medieval II Total War\medieval2.exe" --features.mod=mods/YOUR_MOS_FOLDER --io.file_first.
Replace YOUR_MOS_FOLDER for your actual MOS folder.

And there it is you have your Third Age MOS up and running!

Troubleshooting: In the Third Age MOS folder there is a file with name MOS_readme.txt. This file has some guidelines to solve some issues. In my case, my Third Age installation wasn't clear so I had to follow one of the points stated in the readme file and it solved my issue.

Can you help me so i installed the mod and everything i needed to do but when i klick the Third Age - Steam and the awesome screen of helms deep comes up but then this comes Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit and i do the Cleaner but till comes up help please

Try using the Mod Launcher. From what you are saying I guess you are using a Third Age generated shortcut.
