Unable to enumerate user's subscribed files!

Been getting this message, "Unable to enumerate user's subscribed files!", in the console after witnessing some kind of loading animation next to the "add ons" menu option. I currently do not subscribe to anything in the Workshop, so I'm curious why this is happening. I have not seen this menu behavior happen before until yesterday.

Same issue, started yesterday. I've been subscribed to a few different items for awhile prior to the glitch occuring. As the addons menu is constantly loading, I can no longer see what addons are installed or control their activity.

Thank you for replying, I'm happy to hear it's not one of those issues that's "just you".
I can still view my addons list, however.
For me, it's just that animation next to the menu option never stops animating.
Also, not sure if it's related, but, sometimes when I view my addons list the game crashes.

The issue is now gone - after launching L4D2 the addons list loads for a few seconds, and there are all my addons, in perfect order. Very interesting.

I'm experiencing this issue right now. The items i've subscribed to (L4D2 Steam Workshop) are not appearing in the addons list in the main menu, they're just loading... forever. I've tried to restart the game and Steam but I still have the same issue - and the error "Unable to enumerate user's subscribed files!" appears in the console. I have also verified integrity of game cache but that didn't solve the issue either.

...12 hours later and all the items that I have subscribed to are now appearing in the addons list, seems this was just a temporary issue.
