I know i am on the sub list, but I think i'm on (in order) for spy, sniper, medic. Because im sure medic is covered well, I just want to know if i could switch over to a soldier sub instead of medic.

I highly recommend downloading tr_walkway (http://tf2.gamebanana.com/maps/107794) , a training map that's excellent for single-player practice for any class.
