I'd hate to rain on anyone's parade, and shipping's all fine if it makes enough sense, but... Jinorah seems like she's far, far younger than Korra.

That's a fair point but I don't think age is that big of a deal in the Avatar universe, I mean technically Aang is over 100 years older than Katara and Pema is a lot younger than Tenzin.
