I imagine than whoever's stand is on that disk would disapear forever leaving the Stand-user comatose ultimately leading to death.

Discs cannot be broken. They will simply reform, as seen in the Jumpin' Jack Flash fight when Lang tried to break Star Platinum's disc. i smell a speedreader-

A disc can only be destroyed when inserted into a dying person

Ripped straight from the wiki: "Despite their appearance, the Discs feel rubbery and elastic,[1] instead of like plastic, making them impervious to physical damage. The Discs are perennial, existing even long after Whitesnake ceases to exist, and are indestructible unless inserted into a dying person, causing the inserted disc to slowly crumble."

They probably dies and can never be restored or that their discs return to the original owner?
