Fun and organized events dont seem to be within our grasp ATM, and ION's role seems destined to be much much more then what was previously envisioned.

So im not sure how much of my message got out last week, but im keenly interested in discussing it here if there are enough people paying attention

TLDR: Inter Outfit Ops can be run in the same manner they always have been, except utilizing in game command and is meant to reinforce good habits associated with normal in game command usage. It can be the medium with which we use to return Emerald VS to its former glory, and should stress:

Players should be in-game and formed up in squads 15 minutes prior. i have no idea. I find tons of unoutfitted, unsquadded players, everywhere. THIS is the time to return VS outfits to what they were at launch; where every major outfit could field 2 platoons no issue. It is the time to drag players into the fold, list squads, communicate, think beyond each of our little worlds.

It's more than just recruiting. It is actually using command chat. We all had our meetup when the servers first merged and it was the VS guys there last talking about how it was a sign of things to come. What the hell happened? Command is always silent, bases we are attacking maybe have 2 sundies on a good day and you have to BEG people to pull them. There were 3 pages of open squads today and not a peep in command even though we were being warpgated on Hossin.

When was the last time you saw a VS locked continent? We finally got a little bit of the "meta" and instead of trying to capture a continent most of the VS is at a farm.

Folks, if everyone here doesnt start aggressively recruiting, Emerald will lose what should rightfully be it's Mattherson flavor, and Emerald VS will continue to decline to pre merge levels of NC derp. The ♥♥♥♥ ive seen coming from our VS since getting internet back a week or so ago has been insane. Not a whole lot in our command either. It's really sad.

All right, Purple Rebels. We've got Vanu's fight club happening TOMORROW NIGHT. Command will be lead by GreyMort from AzureTwilight who is making a solid plan for us. Signed up for this ION event: AT, DERP, GOTR, NNG, NTMR, RGQT, TEST, and V0IP. Outfit platoon leads, meet in the TEST teamspeak with BC at 7:15 PM (EDT) to go over strategy. Everyone else, same plan as usual.... get ingame and form up squads 15 minutes prior to an 8:00 PM start. Get ready to make roadkill out of the TR and NC!

ION Tomorrow Night! Here's who is joining the fight: AT, GOTR, NNG, NTMR, TEST, and V, along with newcomer ... Waterson's "quiet giant", D3RP. Plus, you'll see players from V0IP (Victory over Internet Protocol) in on the action. Reminder to Platoon Leads to join the Battalion Command in teamspeak (testoutfit.info) at 7:30 PM (EDT). All other ION players should get ingame and form up in their squad 15 minutes to our 8:00 PM start time. (Note - only PLs and their XOs need be in the TEST teamspeak channel.)

For the ION event on June 27: outfit platoon leaders will join up with BC (Jaamaw - NNG) on TEST’s TeamSpeak. ION players will utilize ingame comms.

Can anyone confirm whether TEST is a part of the next ION event? I don't see RoyAwesome listed as a member in the Group here, but maybe someone else is coordinating for the TEST outfit?

Alright, all of the events are up, and there are a lot of them. We have some more open time slots avavaible if there is anyone who is interested in running an event for the charity weekend. If you are interested please give MrsSprack or myself a shout and we will see if we can make something happen.
