Something's gone wonky with my Mod Organizer
Whenever I try to load my SKSE (or any of the Skyrim content) nothing happens. The program says, "locked while exe is running" shows SKSE running, then tesv, but then nothing happens. I'm used to it taking a few minutes to load all 200+ mods. But now it just doesn't even load anymore. It loads just fine from Steam, but of course without any of my mods loaded, I can't continue my current playthrough.

I haven't changed any mods from a month ago when it worked fine. The main difference is that I don't have my own wi-fi, so I'm running offline. But I'm not able to run it even when I connect to other wi-fi either. I downloaded the new update thinking that might have helped, but it didn't. If I check my task manager after just a couple moments, it says the game is running, but I can't do anything with it except "end task".

Hopefully I gave enough info that some of you could help. Sorry it turned out to look like a giant wall of text. Also, I don't get to other wi-fi spots often, so apologies if I can't respond right away.

It taking minutes to even load with 200+ mods is already bad. I have around 258 mods or so and mine starts up pretty damn fast. Try maybe verifying the game cache or reinstalling?

To be fair, I have the most basic computer needed to run Skyrim at max settings. ;)

I tried to verify the files again, but it didn't work. The game itself runs plenty fine, it just won't run through MO. :|

I hope I don't have to reinstall MO, but if I do, is there a way to back up my mod list between installs/uninstalls?

Just make a copy or cut your Mods and Profiles folder. That's all there is to making a backup of your mods. You'll even have your load order and such sorted.

It's worth a shot. I'll give it a try.

EDIT: Complete reinstall of MO didn't solve the glitch unfortunately. I'm at a loss.

Maybe try reinstalling SKSE or Skyrim. Your mods won't go anywhere since they are in the Mod Organizer directory, so you won't lose anything, not even settings.
It's worth a shot! Also, don't forget to clean your master files if you reinstall.

Okay, I finally got to a starbucks without terrible internet. I tried reinstalling SKSE. I haven't tried actually playing yet. But the game does appear to be loading. So that may have solved it. :D Thanks guys for your help!

EDIT: It does indeed work. I'm still getting the delay, and there are other (likely unrelated issues) but at least it's playable.
