Waifu bc traps, femboys and everybody posessing out of gender traits in general can be called other 'girly' things too. Also, a waifu always represents unreachable ideals and traps are basically that, being a girl with a dick. Also, depending on what he/she identifies as, calling them a husbando would be just rude in a lot of cases. And not to forget all the trap waifu memes.

It depends an what the trap wants to be defined as. As I more identify as a girl I would like to be called a waifu but if a person identified more as a boy then they would probably like to be called husbando

unless they say otherwise, Husbando would be the correct term as even if they are really feminine, unless they're trans and prefer to identify as a female, they are a man still
