How to install

Hi, I just downloaded GSM, and I know this sounds dumb, but how do I install it? I mean, it came as .rar file, and when I opened it, there's so many files and folders that I don't know which one is the right application.

Need some help please?

After you download it, unzip the file, run ''gs_mngr_3.exe'' and that's it.

So I did what you say, and I opened the file, but then when I used Sync & Link it says "Unknown error when creating symbolic link". I wonder what it means and why it happen?

Are you running GameSave Manager with full administrative rights?
Symbolic Links usually require full administrative rights to be created.

When I try to run it in full administrative rights, a window came up and displaying a message. The message is: "It appears you're trying to run GameSave Manager without full administrative rights. To solve this, GameSave Manager can utilise the 'Windows Program Compatibility' system to run this project with full administrative rights". Everytime I click Yes, the same message always came up over and over again. Only when I click No the message stopped.

Help me please, I want to save my game on the cloud.

Try manually applying the compatibilty.
Right-click the gs_mngr_3.exe file and select "Properties". Click the "Compatibility" tab and tick 'Run this program as an administrator'.

Whenever you run gs_mngr_3.exe from this point forward, Windows will automatically elevate your permissions to full administrative.

InsaneMatt, I did as you say, and finally I can run GSM as admin and save my game on the cloud. Thanks for your help. Keep up the good work! GSM is a great app :D

I am getting an error message that "The code execution cannot proceed because lua5.1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I cannot even install it at all!

Extract all the files to a folder bamusiclover and then launch gs_mngr_3.exe from there.
Double-clicking the executable within the archive will extract that file only, not the dependency files.
