I think it may have to do with the long file names but I am unable to find any info around this specific error on google. I only get this error on CEMU.

Any suggestions?

Your theory of the path length could be the issue (that or the files were 'locked' by another process during backup).

You could potentially manually check the backup archive's contents to see if those files are indeed missing (you might be able to extract and restore manually if they are present).
This can be achieved by opening the .gsba file within your archiving tool of choice (7zip, WinRAR, WinZip, etc).

Yes, the error is most likely due to long file name. The limit seems to be 160 characters. Not the whole path, but just from the specific directory.

I have the same issue with Dragon Age Origins.

161 characters, what a bummer.

Though the files seem to be backed, for me at least.

Apologies for the very late reply from myself, I missed the notification (thought it would have been by email, but I don't think it is).

The backups seem to be completing ok - is there any way to suppress the errors for specific games? GSM runs as a background task for me as part of a backup process, and the error message pauses the script and also steals focus from what ever is on top of the screen.

Thank you

Assuming you've configured a Scheduled Task to run every X minute or hour, consider the Gameplay Backup feature instead.

There is currently no way to suppress errors, at least not that I can recall right now.
