From what I recall, GameSave Manager uses schtasks.exe (commandline tool) which requires administrative rights.
There's a way around this, however. It's long winded, but you can save your scheduled task and choose to create a desktop shortcut. Using that shortcut's target, make a Task Scheduler entry for it (info available here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc748993(v=ws.11).aspx#BKMK_winui).
I would like to use the easy way later tho, is there another workaround for that?
I'm focusing on the v4.x branch and only releasing "security updates" to the v3.x branch.
Last question: Can I turn off the "no update available or invalid file" dialogue box when the program starts up, but still check for updates? It's kind of inconvenient to have to be by the computer to make the scheduled backups actually start.
Looking forward to v4!
Good news; it's fixed. A new program update has been released (v3.1.455.0).
