iWeb Fun Lan

iWeb employees are a talented and passionate group, or so we’d like to think. In our spare time, many of us decompress and entertain ourselves by playing video games and organizing gaming events.

Here are some of the events that we organized or that we participated in over the last few months:

- December 2013: TrackMania LANniversary,
- December 2013: League of Legends: Internap vs. iWeb
- February 2014: LAN ÉTS 2014
- April 2014 : iWeb FUN LAN #1

And we’re just getting started: we want to play some more!

Our next event, the iWeb Fun LAN #2, will take place on Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th 2014. We will have a lot of fun !

This is how it will go down: we are hosting game servers on iWeb’s infrastructure for the following tournaments:

- TrackMania 2 Stadium (16 players), because we loved this game, and because we want to see Carl Jr play again and again.
- CS:GO (6 teams of 5 players), just because we like this game and its community.
- Team Fortress 2, because we want a free to play game for everyone.
- Left for Dead 2, just because we want to give it a try.

And just because we can, we also launched some other Game Servers like Minecraft, for gamers like you to test, but we did not make these games part of the official Fun LAN tournament.

This event will be streamed on-line by Cyberactiv in collaboration with Multijoueur.ca on O'Gaming TV.
