FotN Remake

Good day.
I read on a separate forum that someone was going to start a remake of this map 3 years ago.
So far no one seems to have taken any serious initiative.

Therefore, I want to let you all know I am doing just that: taking initiative! This map hasn't seen an update for nearly 5 years, and I want to see a finished product. I only have a test map, and the REAL map is not finished yet. I would appreciate your support or suggestions.
I have been developing this for the past 7 months, and would place it at about 50% complete.

Thank you for the offer, Believe. Right now, It's just all level design. The programming is done. I plan to get a workable map out in July.

Er, it's not a mod of "DotA 1" but "Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne." I won't be bothering with the DotA 2 engine at all since Warcraft: Reforged will be coming out next year. You can expect it will be going there!

1) don't eat bait
2) The existing map mmmiiight work in reforged as is, if it does not exploit any of the fixed bugs. Though custom models would probably look exactly the same, and contrast like hell on remastered background :)

Wark, I saw your opensource, and I played it on Bnet. I have some ideas on how to make it more like FotN, do you prefer if I worked under you or if I took it and worked on the map alone? I can also write a blog post comparing NB and FOTN if you want to read it :)
