Official Steam's Early Access Game (EAG) Program Rules and Guidelines
I think this is a wonderful pin and does an excellent job of conveying to the Steam Community what expectation regarding EA (early access) games should be.

I think there is a serious problem with early access in a generalized sense. I have encountered a couple developers that have abused this spirit. Also, this 1% of bad actors that I have dealt with, have violated their own proposed statements regarding EA commitments and obligations.

When this does happen, there is little recourse. Often we have played to long for a refund and indeed are often not even looking for reimbursement.

We want a way to hold these entities accountable by Valve. It seems there should be some system in place to help with reporting of specific development studios that have abused the spirit and very "terms" of early access.

These offenses often take the form of glacial development with zero relevant communication regarding development. In these rare instances that a development studio stonewalls the community of repeatedly fails to comment / report on state of development..

Well, there should be some official form to fill out... a means of navigating the customer service choices ending in some result that expressed dissatisfaction with a way EA is being handled.
If there is enough people filling this form out.. well, it's not merely a disgruntled customer but a rising trend that validates the possibility that some developers are taking advantage of the EA structure.

The only real reason a AAA studio should approach EA is communication, right? Feedback and Bug assistance. It surely should not be to generate capital when there is gobs of it already flowing into shareholder pockets.

I mean the Early Access development was designed specifically to allow these wonderful indie titles to see the light of day.
Not allow mega corps to poop on people and mitigate most of the risk of development through venture capital requests from joe q public.
If this is now the new EA paradigm.. allow us some manner of recourse to combat the cash grabs and studio stonewalling.
