What happened to DGEmu?
About April 2015 our founder, DM, said the site was paid up till September and he wasn't going to renew due to the costs. DGEmu had 0 ads and relied on donations to make payment on the server. That was all well and good but PayPal had continuously "banned" our PayPal accounts, so we had about 14 months of no PayPal ... it was time to take action.

Staff spoke about alternatives but DM went MIA for several months, Meru had big plans but couldn't do them without DM giving him access to stuff. September came and we were still up. By late October DM resurfaced for one day and said he had received emails from the company basically pleading him to renew (we have been with them for several years so they didn't want to lose our business lol).

January 10th (or 11th depending on your timezone) 2016 they finally cut us off, since then we have wandered in this group. Meru had been trying to contact DM since then but with no luck.

8th January, I decided to contact him and in 36 hours he replied to me (mustn't like Meru). He redirected DGEmu.com to go here so if anyone was still trying to visit the site they would find us here.

Ben (DM, Dragon Master), has a wife and 2 beautiful daughters, for a several months now he has severely reduced his time on a screen (well as much as a software developer can) so he can spend more time with his girls.

The resurrection of DGEmu lays in the hands of Meru, who apparently is busy, even though he is online just about all the time he can prove to be just as impossible to contact as DM!
