Diamonds and Rust is a solo/duo-server. In addition to admin who controls this, we also have installed a mod called plague. This will do exactly what it says, infect you with a plague if you spend too much time together with too many people.

Diamonds and Rust is a friendly server. This doesn't mean that you can't get shot or can't get raided. It's never easy to predict what other people will do.

Therefore, we have some mods and some extra adjustments on them plus some general tips to make life easier and safer for you.

Traps and landmines can be stepped on by their owner . You don't have to do anything for this to happen. You can also allow your friends to be able to step over them. Then both you and your friend need to run the /friend add [name].

Beartraps will also reset after 5 seconds to increase the security for you.

Guntraps and flameturrets both require TC authorisation to avoid shooting at a person. Flameturrets have increased health.

Autoturrets needs you to authorize on them. They have both increased range and health. Since autoturrets have increased range, we expect you to set all your outdoor turrets in peacekeeper mode (green laser).

Turrets can be placed on roof ceilings using /flippable.

TC range is increased and ladders/twig can't be placed by unauthorised persons.

Search lights can be turned into security lights which will automatically track unwanted persons within its range. Same as with traps, you and your friend can /friend add [name] to avoid the search light to track them.

JPipes has many uses. The one most relevant here is that it allows you to completely hide your TC and feed it via a pipe. You can also connect turrets/guntraps via a pipe to a loot box and they will never run out of ammo.

If you take advantage of the mods mentioned here and build smart, your changes of getting raided is lower than on vanilla servers. But it is all up to you and how you build and utilize these mods.

Diamonds and Rust is a friendly server, meant for like-minded people wanting to be friendly to their brothers and sisters. As stated in the introduction: As long as you come with a good heart and a good mind, you are warmly welcomed on Diamonds And Rust.

This means that even if we don't have any rules per se, we expect you to behave friendly and nice towards other players and to respect them. We have summoned it up in one unwritten rule:

Do not shoot until you are shot upon.

The thing about Diamonds and Rust is that it isn't a PVE server and it isn't a hard core PVP server either. It is in between, where we rely on other people to behave friendly in order to make our game experience a bit more relaxed and where we don't have to be scared of getting shot at all the time.

If all you want to do is to make life miserable for other people you won't be old on Diamonds and Rust.

If on the other hand you want to give of yourself, contribute, help out and have a good time or just mind your own business in peace, this is the server for you.

Diamonds and Rust est un serveur amical, conçu pour une communauté de joueurs qui souhaitent être solidaires les uns envers les autres. Comme précisé dans l'introduction, tant que votre attitude sur le serveur sera empreinte de bonne volonté et de bon coeur, vous serez les bienvenus et

Diamonds and Rust n'est ni un serveur PVE, ni un serveur orienté PVP. C'est un entre deux dans lequel nous comptons sur chacun pour se comporter amicalement. Le but est de partager une expérience de détente et où chaque sortie de sa base ne nous rende pas plus paranoiaque que nous ne le sommes déjà.

Vous ne ferez pas de vieux os sur Diamonds and Rust si votre seul but est de rendre infernale la vie des autres joueurs.

A l'inverse, si vous désirez partager, aider les autres, avoir du bon temps ou simplement jouer pacifiquement, ce serveur est fait pour vous.
