Got a question. Even if I'm not going to play DS2 until Christmas. I heard that to be able to get into Cruicible, you need some kind of a code. Is that true, or you can unlock it somehow in-game? If yes, do you have to buy the code, or what?

Wait... I actually shot up from level 2 to level 5 from defeating Thane! WOW! That's too fast!

Killed Thane at Level 2 using no wrath powers (cos I never bought any) with a level 1 hammer and chaos fang doing a continuous 57 hits combo! hehehhe! SATISFYING!!!! Now Level 3 after beating him.. next target Bheithir!!! :)

Broke 50 combo at last... man, its hard to do as little damage as possible to keep the enemy from dying too quickly hahaha

Earliest place for grinding.. Banewood!!! All corruptions respawn with reload!!! Massive farming area! :)

Although, I heard that PC Gaming Community is some type of "rising star". More and more people are chosing PC instead of Xbox 360 ro PS3. So afterall, I probably won't be pre-ordering DS2. Probably I'll be waiting until Christmas for discounts. And until then, waiting for more epic combo vids from you, Pr8! :)

They never intended to do anything about it... I raised this up to them months ago and they explicitly told me they wont do it... oh well, thats what we get for being the smallest of market segment in the gaming industry.

Yeah, though I understood it. Or they were too lazy to apply advanced graphic options, or somehow they managed to release non-polished DS2 version, which should've been released on June, IIRC. Though, they still have a chance to fix their mistake, by releasing a fix update, but somehow I doubt it...

That is why graphics options are so important, not so much to make the game nicer looking, but to allow people with less capable rigs to also run the game... so many people dun get it.

Yeah, I really wish to play that game, 'cause I'm a big fan of it (envy watching your vids :D), but if my comp won't be able to load the game, I... don't know what to do, unless advanced graphical options will come out, and I'll be able to customize graphics to be able to play the game :)

I managed to get to the top of the weeping crag dungeon without the use of portal! I know this door is probably meant for later in the game after you get the portal gun also because you will find a sidequest item in there that pertains to a sidequest much later in the game. If you are struggling with DS1, DS2 will be a tall call. Even though both are of the same engine, DS2 feels slightly laggier due to poor PC optimization.

Yeah, CPU isn't the best. DS1 went smoothly very rarely, though no that bad even when lagging.

Were you able to run DS1 smoothly on that laptop? Dual core look a bit underpowered...

Yeah, so I have some kind of dilemae... I thought, that I'll pre-order DS2, though I still can, but it costs damn alot in my country, and I am thinking... Should I pre-order it? I heard, thet alot of people had some issues with the game, also, I'm not sure will my laptop be able to even start the game. Your opinion?

Those of you in the EU region, you can actually download hotspot shield VPN for free, run it and then restart steam and you will be able to unpack and play DS2.

Anyways, I am into the game now buddies, thank you all for the concern. And does it surprise you guys that I actually spent my first 30 mins in the game doing nothing but standing right there on the spot playing with the moves? hahahha! Its incredible how fanciful combos can be using just the starting moves and I am going to make a video on this soon! :)

After fighting the game for one night, i've managed to resolve the issue at last. It seems like DS2 didn't have a system setup on first launch like all PC games do which will install the critical gaming components such as microsoft framework and you have to do that manually in order to be able to start the game... very amateurish mistake on the dev's side

so I have seen the chaos on the forums..what exactly is the problem? is it the video options? They werent going to be there in the beginning..I remember seeing a post about it..?

level 11 or 12, just took down the Guardian, not as tough as you'd think.

Unpacked the game but it just won't launch. Will hold on for another 24hours before asking for refund. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up game of the year award!

This game can't get more disappointing... risked my account safety to unpack the game and now it wont even launch...
