I have had many black cats in my 31 years of life. Every one of them have been the best cat. My last black cat was Buddha. He was a Maine Coon/Siamese mix and I named him Buddha because he was the sweetest kitten.

He was such a good boy that when he got hematomas in his ears, and they were drained by the vet, they tried at first to see if he would let them remove the butterfly stitches without knocking him out, all he did was close his eyes really tight and let them work.

he passed away earlier this year... I miss him

I agree. I think that the saying that black cats bring bad luck is just an old wive's tale.

I saw a black cat on the street the other day and my luck isn't any worse than before.
