Groupees is RIP,
It's been down for months. I just found out about it.

How much stuff I didn't download I'll never know.

I hope nobody else lost DRM FREE stuff.

Yeah, i have been loading the page just to see if it returns but after so much time i doubt it will. Is weird they didn't try to sell to any other site to keep stuff "valid".
In my case I had not too much there, and i knew that if i download it i would probably don't play it, but yeah they should have warned people by email several times.

TBH I had forgotten about it.

It was pretty good for several years.

Yeah, it started pretty strong and then it become pretty average and expensive. Somehow the same than Indiegala, although i think Indiegala is a bit better but has not released "big" bundles since some time ago.

There was talk a while back about them shutting down. Someone made a script that could download all your owned games and music etc. I used that to archive everything and the site stayed up. I guess it was only a short reprieve.

I loved Groupees bundles in the beginning but they tanked in quality after a while. Too much shovelware.

Yes, they were actually one of my favourite bundle sites for a while there, and also got some good music (and some not so good!). Haven't bought anything for years though, and did already download everything I wanted (hopefully) when things first started going wonky a few years ago (when Russia invaded Ukraine I think, as their web dev was based in Ukraine IIRC).
In general I think the 'golden age' of bundles has passed - Humble have some goodish bundles from time to time, and Fanatical sometimes too, but neither seems quite as super-cheap as the once were. I also have far too many games anyway.

I agree with all of this.
