Monetization Plan

With this annoucement we declare that Bro Unit will abide by the rules of monetization from Bohemia Interactive (BI).
Bro Unit, through its administration members, is applying for BI´s server monetization authorization to help with the costs of the Arma 3 game servers*.

The Bohemia Interactive rules of monetization:

- Charging players to access your server, if the fees and associated perks do not affect gameplay in any way, is allowed.
Cosmetic perks are allowed. Limiting access to only paying players is allowed.
- Product placement, in-game advertising and sponsorship is allowed.
- Selling of in-game items, that don’t affect gameplay, is allowed.
- Accepting donations is allowed, but to avoid any doubts: not providing donations must not prevent anyone from accessing the content.

Donations

Donations are welcomed but not mandatory. All will have equal access to the servers.

Our monetized servers are running the Apex framework and permission to use the mission file was given by the mission creator Quiksilver, as stated on his original post on BI´s forum:

How it works

We will make use of the framework built-in monetization solution by giving donor access to custom cosmetics, such as:

• Patches
  
• Uniforms skins
  
• Vehicle skins

Donors will also have access to whitelisted lobby roles**.

Community guidelines and rules
Bro Unit reserves the right of restricting server access if a donor does not comply with our community rules. All rules still apply.
All donations are non-refundable.
Any changes to our monetization plan will be posted to this official thread.
