Desperately need help porting a model into garry's mod as playermodel.

Ive tried nearly 100 time trying to get my favorite character model ported into gmod as a pm for over 7-10, 6 hour afternoons. No progress has been made, cuts have been taken, textures have been sacrificed, but no matter how hard i try, i just sent back to square one (which i cant even figure out because its a ridiculous texture organizing problem by the author, either that or im just so incredibly ignorant i cant even find that out). Ive reaserched, watched tutorials, done everything, but i always run into problems the people in those tutorials dont. What i need is a person who can walk me through this so i can either know how to do this for now and the future, or to walk away and never look at blender again. The amount of time ive spent trying to do this makes me feel like I need to get it done, but right now that looks practically impossible. So please dont respond with "google it" or "follow the guide" (yknow, the guides... THAT DONT EXIST). I need someone or some people who can demonstrate how to do this right and point out the things im doing wrong so I can get this right. Please and thank you.
