uv unwraping(repost)PLEASE need a sufficient answer
uv unwraping
when i render in render cycles.the message appears computability found less than 2.0 .i know this means that i can't use cycles.but can i just uv unwrap?it is something like a pre rendered version right?
My specs are
processor:intel core 2 cpu 2.13 ghz
system type:32 bit
gpu:nvidia geforce 9500 gt
please tell me if it's possible for me to uv unwrap.i want to create tf 2 skins.does making skins require rendering?

UV unwrapping has nothing to do with rendering, so any Cycles errors you're getting are a total non sequitur.

Select your object, go to Edit mode, select all, press U on the keyboard and select an unwrap method. That's how you do UV unwrapping.

In my experience (so it's up to you if you use it or not) I've found working in Blender Render much easier to UV unwrap than cycles. I'm not saying it can't be done in Cycles, it's just a different workflow.
