SMD-exporting

Hi.
When I try to export my model in blender, I can't choose between the smd-file and the scene, but between the dmx-filel and the scene. Does this affect the result or is it good as well?

You need to export your model as an smd file. To select smd click the tab left of the earth other wise known as the world tab and go down options you should see export for smd or dmx click smd, I hoped that answered your question
