In the event I discontinue BetterSADX, PkR's Installer would be the defacto thing to switch to, for sure, but for now, new installers will continue to be made due to popular demand.
One thing BetterSADX offers is heavy testing before releases to make sure the game works fully, and name familiarity (which is often misguided anyway).
But I should've said Is PKR's mod installer a better alternative for lower end computers
Every mod installer reverts to the 2004 PC port and installs various mods, one of the mods which can make low-end computers lag is the Lantern Engine, which restores the Dreamcast's lighting engine.
