Steam Welcome Gif/Artwork Issues

When i go to turn my artwork into a gif, the gif becomes pixelated and loses color and quality, and when I go to upload the artwork into steam its far too large to be uploaded.

If anyone knows how to fix the pixel problem and reduce the file size so it can be posted while still looking good without a further loss of quality I'd appreciate it.

After messing around with some settings the discoloration and pixelation aren't as easy to notice as the previous screenshot. Which also reduced the file size from 16.9 MB to 10.4 MB and after cropping the excess black space off of the gif the file size has become 10 MB, I still need to get to ≤8 MB to upload the artwork. Not sure how to achieve this without suffering image quality losses.

I dunno why you`re getting them pixelated but i`m using these options: http://prntscr.com/g09vfa
And about the gif size you can reduce the fps in after effect if you`re using it, or limit the frames like in this http://prntscr.com/g09xuo note your gif animation will be faster so don`t use limit then 3 and if they didn`t work, i think you should use some gif optimizers

Thanks for the help, I'll try it out when I get the chance and see if I can get it to work with that.
