Windows 10 Random Crashing. 10 Minutes is The Maximum I Can Play.

This isn't just for AA2, it's all the illusion games I have; home mate, ag3, and others.
It happens after I install the d3d9 files, I've tried many different d3d9s and all but one doesn't make my game lag more than a fat kid. The one that doesn't lag crashes the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game every 10 minutes, all the games. There's no fix on the internet, AAU's crash dump is empty and the error code for AA2 when it crashes is a vague 0xc0000005. Please help.

If you have AAU you're not supposed to mess with d3d9 files at all. You're supposed to enable Win10Fix. If that crashes, you're supposed to enable WineD3D (mutually exclusive). If you also have a secondary Intel graphics chip, you're supposed to make sure to run the game on your AMD or Nvidia graphics chip. Alternatively, with AMD graphics card sometimes Win10Fix with software vertex processing also works.

If you do not have either AMD or Nvidia, you're supposed to give up and cry because Intel is garbage. You also probably chose the worst place to ask for help. I doubt there is anyone here beside me who knows anything about AAU or the problem you're facing and I am only here by coincidence.

OpenGL driver is completely fucked. Which means you're either using Intel or your computer/OS/drivers are broken.

The only intel I'm using is an intel cpu. And my computer shows no signs of being broken. My windows 10 isn't fully activated so I don't think that would be it. But fuck, I've tried everything so far, it's gotta be something it shouldn't be.

Well, OpenGL worked fine on AMD and Nvidia hardware with the latest drivers last I checked. And if you have an Intel CPU you also have Intel graphics hardware assuming you're not on X99 or X299 platform like me. If your device is a laptop, it's going to be used by default for AA2 also. On desktop I don't know if it can be used, I do not have built in Intel GFX.

Either way, last I checked OpenGL driver on nvidia was perfect and AMD was OK, and your screenshot is anything but okay. Simplest explenation is that you are using Intel GFX to run the game, but it's not the only possible explenation. The other potential explenations are 100% unknown though.

I used to play on win8.1 after change my hardware and OS i had issues, 6 month's later i downloaded the game again from another source, installed everything HF applocale being first but since won't work on win10 even using compatibility i also downloaded locale emulator to install the files.

After that i followed the steps on the link, on comment session he have also a .dll that made the game run smooth it's pretty simple, the only thing i notice was that Japanese simbols won't show properly but anyway if i knew how to read them i wouldn't use an English mod, hope it helps.
