Please try to keep comments here about ALLSiM. The league run by Vitesse flys under the banner of ACESPOT. There will be an ALLSiM pCars Full-Sim League starting soon.
Blunt Jun 18, 2015 @ 3:52pm
the acespot league is not an allsim league, it is run by vitesse. but yeah, i agree about using aids. full sim, no aids locked to cockpit is how it should be.
Philipjip Jun 18, 2015 @ 2:13pm
dropping out the fb race's the assist users have a massive advantage and it's not fun
Philipjip Jun 18, 2015 @ 10:32am
Both are meant to work with pc also :) however i still think the g27 looks nicer :)
Blunt Jun 16, 2015 @ 7:20am
New events will be posted after the steam sale and E3 :)
Paano Jun 15, 2015 @ 9:11am
Thats ok MJK, sad to see you go but good luck to you.

Bugs as far as Im aware have been dealt with now, in Thursdays Formula B race everything went very smooth.
Ser Paskartelija Jun 15, 2015 @ 5:06am
Hey Vitesse,

I have decided to withdraw from GT4-championship.
I don't have energy and motivation.

Hopefully you have good races and no bugs anymore :)
Paano Jun 8, 2015 @ 4:45pm
Yes correct MJK, Im using a gamepad atm but a wheel is on the way! Between Wed. an Fri. my Driving Force GT should be delivered so Im looking forward to that :) The key to driving without aids is moderation. Don't go nuts on the throttle and brakes and youll be fine ^^

During the championship the camera option is free. Same goes for auto/manual gear.
Ser Paskartelija Jun 8, 2015 @ 3:50am
Oh too bad that we won't be racing at Bathurst...but I have had problems in the esses lol...
Vitesse do I remember right that you are using gamepad? How can you drive without driving aids?`

Is the camera choice free in the championship? No locking to the cockpit? I race external only; can't see enough in cockpit and no sense of speed :)
Blunt Jun 7, 2015 @ 5:15am
Yes, new events should get posted soon. sunday service :)
ProLeetNoob Jun 7, 2015 @ 3:14am
Any AC events coming up? Im a big gt3 fan. Cheers!

GT4 at Snetterton 200. Cool.
Paano Jun 6, 2015 @ 3:23pm
The first track for the GT4 Championship has been changed from Bathurst to Snetterton 200. After witnessing the somewhat low show-up in the past two races (12 & 8 drivers) the Bathurst would be too long for such a small grid.
Zerro_G Jun 6, 2015 @ 1:04pm
To combat the one-sided weather you mentioned. Why not just only slightly speed weather change to 2X and accelerate fuel and tire ware also to 2X or, however that works out for one pit, 15 min race. I think that worn tires and the need for fuel are incentives for everyone to pit.
Zerro_G Jun 6, 2015 @ 12:55pm
Sure, I understand. You can always at least eccelerate tire and fuel comsumption, which would then warrent at least one pit (depending on the rate of fuel and tire ware) for tire change and fuel. That may serve to even things out a bit.

As with the Watkins Glen race. I am not of anyone changing from dry to wet tires, not with conditions changing so often and quickly. Everyone took their changes with slicks for all the changing conditions. That is surely not real-world or sim racing.
Paano Jun 6, 2015 @ 12:44pm
I'm not sure if it does, but one thing you have to keep in mind is that championship races typically will take around 35-45min. whereas real-life races can take over 1h 30mins. So, either we decide to follow realistic weather patterns, but then we run the risk of having very one-sided weather. Or we try to cramp in different weather types which however leads to an unrealistically fast change of weather
Zerro_G Jun 6, 2015 @ 12:34pm
Sorry, I clearly spoke prematurely, and I apologize. We Americans are blunt to a fault. I am jaded in that I see the kinds of things I talked about in far too many PC online races. The bright spots are with online racing clubs and groups like this one. I did not mean to scold. I understand that PC has a feature where the sim pulls weather conditions at the real site and creates those conditions in the sim. Does this feature work?
Paano Jun 6, 2015 @ 11:56am
Apologies for the bad weather pattern during that race gpruitt. Im still somewhat unfamiliar with PCars and it seems like I accidently made the weather change too quickly. But hey, that's what those pre-season races for! At least I wont make the same mistake now during the actual championship
Blunt Jun 6, 2015 @ 11:46am
The watkin glen race was a member event hosted by Vitesse. ALLSiM races are usually more realistic, often with no aids, locked to cockpit and realistic weather. Member events are more just for fun.
Zerro_G Jun 6, 2015 @ 11:33am
This comment and question may be unpopular with most here. But, here goes. I am a newcomer to this group. The first race I joined was at Watkins Glen. I did OK in that I survived until the end of the race. What grabbed my attention was the arcade-like and completely unrealistic speed at which the conditions changed. Within that short 15 minute race, the conditions changed at least 5 times, changing from bone dry to heavy rain to clear skys and back again. This is sim racing, right? I understand that the sim allows for unrealistic speed in weather changes and other odd-ball things such as F1 cars at Spa at night. Are ALLSiM online races typically setup with realistic race and weather conditions at the forefront?

I told you this would not be a popular comment.
Zerro_G Jun 6, 2015 @ 10:33am
Good idea about the reminder on pit exit.
Blunt Jun 5, 2015 @ 9:32am
The rules of the FIA should be followed, this is one of the few rules we have.
Ser Paskartelija Jun 5, 2015 @ 5:07am
Vitesse maybe you should inform everybody about pit exit driving line? So that in the championship drivers would follow the exit driving line to prevent dangerous situations ;)
Paano Jun 4, 2015 @ 2:31pm
Kudos to MJK for winning the GT4 Pre-season race!
