tbh, I didnt mind the ridiculously long 20 minute load time, meant I had time to cook dinner, eat dinner, watch a quick movie, then finish the rest of 13 Reasons Why on Netflix, take a nap and finnaly binge watch a few videos on youtube....seems like an efficient use of my time.

Well, the medieval Engineer's test server is up. SE looks promising, I'm going to try it out... hopefully they resolved some issues (specially load times)

What is the server's IP address? I can only connect through the 'direct connect' option, my computer is strange like that.

Server is going down for temporary maintenance while we patch an update to the mod to improve server join time. We're also testing out alternative ways to make money via the economy system. Including the first implementation of bulk trading between stations.

Additionally, I'm doing a few bug fixes, so V8 engines will work. V8 Engines are powerful, but require dieseal fuel to operate.

Removed the requirement for solar panals to require advanced computer components.

Fixed an exploit where people could build trade posts on their ships if it was included in a blueprint (used on a projector).

Reduced the Artificial Jump Communicator's power cost from 300 --> 150.

Laser Antenna now has 200,000 Range. Was 100,000

Update should take 2 hours to complete

I can confirm! The server join time has been dramatically reduced! People will be able to join the server in a much quicker manner than what it has been for the past few days :D

Server is temporary down while I upload an update to the mod/server, trying to adress the loading time issue. I think I've found out what's causing it.

Additionally, I'm temporarily removing spiders/wolves

Well, I have a 2-3 hour window between now and work. Though if it does not go online today, it will most likely be up and running this Saturday.

Time has been hard to find. With a Physic exam on tuesday, I cant work on the server till 5:00pm. Though I believe I will get the bulk of the work done today.

Then its a matter of testing to see if it works with the mods.

Again, I know its unfortunate that this pause happened, but I'm working hard to recover all of your structures and start the server where we left off :)

Going to spend some time today cleaning the server, bump that sim speed back to 1.0!

As well as update some blocks: Laser Antenna (100k Range), Welder, Miner. And add the new HPG, though I may change the name to "Artificial Jump Communicator" to reflect SE lore better.

Will be adding "Ice" asteriods on the server tommarow. Noticed a lot of people want ice, so I'll make it a little easier to get :)

their is also Ice on Solaris I, II, and IV. A karve can easily scoop some up and get your station hydrogen and oxygen
