"how do you think Christians should handle this[?]"
Just like everything else: With open heart and open mind. We've got a brain to use it. If someone starts to pray to Odin, because of a game, something is wrong with the person - not with the game ;)

Besides that:
I like to see different points of view - yes, also regarding religions. Knowledge is key.
But just because I learn about a different religion, it doesn't mean that I will become its follower.

Or in another example:
Just because I like history and read about WW2, it doesn't mean that I am a supporter of genocides etc.
Use such games to learn - It might even strengthen your faith.

After all, it is a game, and you do not kill them, because you love to kill Christians.

Also... you wouldn't be allowed to play most of the games if you were really afraid to kill Christians :-)

Your avatar looks like from Holdfast or M&B Warband. I doubt you fight against Ottomans only :P

I think all your answers are in the very first sentence you read when starting any AC game:
"Inspired by historical events and characters. This work of fiction was designed, developed and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs!"

So there you have it, it is totally FICTIONAL and only INSPIRED by history and is just made for ENTERTAINMENT purpose! So you should not take any of this seriously!
Besides that even if you do, you must have noticed that AC doesnt favoures any religion because in AC universe ALL religions are wrong and the Earth and Mankind were created by a species called "the first civilization" which names are orientated on greek gods! Also I think that all players know that there are no real evil Templars/Abstergo like in the games XD So pls dont worry about that people will start making human sacrifices only because they played a FICTIONAL videogame XD That also counts for the TV series VIKINGS which is really good by the way, and the same producers who made VIKINGS also made an own series about templars called KNIGHTFALL and thats pretty nice too. Even though they are both fictional and inspired by history!

Uhm...

You know, I am Hospitaller.
When the Templar Order got "disbanded", most of their members joined our order. So we are partly Templars.

... and half a year ago, I read about an internal report that we made a cooperation deal with a company called "Animus"...

Coincidence? :P

I think we can play it if is good, Assassin's Creed never was an representation of the reality, is only a game. about the norse mithology, it's interesting, and we need to know "our enemies", even if they are dead. I'm catholic and the only reason to suspect the quality of this future game is the fact of the Ubisoft is who are making him. I don't like too much Assassin's Creed, i like norse mithology A N D i don't trust on Ubisoft.

I'm not buying it.

I hate assassin's Creed because of its anticatholic/antichristian themes.

As far as I remember, it's "anti" templar. And the templars were told to be heretics, by the church ^^

Yeah even though they were declared heretics, they still were not heretics

Exactly. There is always a difference between what people claim/think and reality :)
