Achievements unlocked at different times
I earned three achievements in Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed. I unlocked them at 11:13 AM, 11:25 AM, and 1:59 PM. I was playing with Steam's overlay active, and I also had the achievements window open, as well as Steam's browser. However, after exiting the game, all three achievements were listed on my Steam profile as being unlocked at the same time: 3:15 PM.

Steam shows all three achievements with the same timestamp, but the post-game summary correctly displays the actual times—11:13 AM, 11:25 AM, and so on.

What could be causing this, and how can I prevent it from happening in the future? I always play in Online mode.

Disney Epic Mickey 2 also (and still) have that same problem, lol. "Nice" to see both games from franchise being fucked up in the same way.

Lazy devs (both AAA and indie) that don't care to implement Steam achievements properly. In rarer cases - game engine deficiencies don't allow proper achievement implementation.

For starters: delete that game's save(s), use Steam console to remove messed-up achievements and then start re-earning them properly. Aaaand you do that by simply (force) closing the game every time you see overlay popup. Timestamps will be slightly different anyway, but, you know, it's still better than to have a bunch of cheevos with exactly the same one.
Some other games (ones that I remembered quickly) behaving like that:
- Kelvin and the Infamous Machine
- KUUKIYOMI (all games in those series)
- River City Girls (first one for sure, no idea about sequel)
- Trailblazers (doesn't even show overlay popup upon earning an achievement, so you have to close the game each time you think got one)
Maybe there's a comprehensive list of such games available somewhere?

I played Hogwarts Legacy today. I got my first achievement at 3:15 PM and the second one at 4:09 PM. I just finished playing, and now the first achievement shows the same unlock time as the second one. It’s really annoying.

If you do not want to close the game every so often then, upon seeing cheevo popup, bring up Steam overlay, go to your Steam profile, find your "recently played games" section (the one under all your showcases but above profile comments will do just fine) and enter specific game's achievements page from there. If you see achievement with proper timestamp here: you're safe, if you don't... well, now you have to exit the game as fast as you can, wait for Steam cloud sync to finish (or just wait a few seconds if the game doesn't have it) and check game's achievement page (one from your Steam profile, as I wrote above) again.

Thank you so much! I will remove the achievement through the console and earn it again. However, I’m wondering if this could affect the account’s statistics, like the achievement showcase or the total achievement count. I’ve read that the data in the showcase doesn’t update after achievements are removed, so I understand that I need to earn them again to make sure the statistics are accurate?

I removed it, then restarted Steam, and it was gone. I earned it again and now have the exact timestamp. However, for some reason, the activity feed shows that I unlocked the same achievement twice today (there are two identical icons). I assume this is normal and that it won't negatively affect the achievement counter on my account.

Actually you only need to earn any one achievement in any game to update your showcases.

Well, technically you have unlocked that achievement twice so activity feed is correct about that... You can say that there's no specific status for that kind of thing, like "User X removed achievement Y from game Z"... But yeah, it won't matter in the long run, cheevo counter's gonna remain correct anyway.
One thing: don't get too trigger happy with Steam console cause some games have poorer cheevo implementation and actually may permanently lock you out from re-earning achievements (even if you'll delete all related saves, configs, completely erase and reinstall the game etc.). Ask in achievement huntin' groups (or their discord servers) for advice if you have some doubts with one or another game.

Does this also apply to SAM, or is it safer when it comes to deleting bugged achievements?

Anyway, thanks for your advice. If re-earning an achievement is not counted twice in the Rarest Achievements Showcase, and the numbers remain correct, then I can sleep peacefully. :rrazz:

Yep, same degree of (possible) danger.
